Plasmodium, 2009, Steel, Fabric, Video, Sound, 8'L x 9.5'H x 8.5' W
This installation concerns the cyclic nature of Plasmodium (Malaria). The text that appears on the interior of the mosquito net tent relates the ramifications that come about because of malaria. The text ultimately becomes the shadow of the steel sculpture, which is building and collapsing, unraveling and swarming similar to a horde of mosquitoes.

Exposed evolves from the recognition of the self created, angst based cage. The initial relief felt at this revelation is short-lived though, as awareness gives way to the unalleviated persistence of the newly identified anxiety.
